Well last night was another flurry of dreams, but this was different than before. I kept skipping through time and really wasn't sure what was going on - but there is one part I remember very well. I witnessed a great treachery against a fellow soldier and was trying to find out how it occurred. At first, I thought there were only a few people involved in setting this person up and putting them out, permanently; but, when I began to look a little closer I began to see things clearly. Not only did fellow soldiers set this person up, but most of the unit was there setting him up. I was in the room with just two of them and thought that was the bunch, but then the room spun around and suddenly it was filled with ten people ... then the door opened and another twelve came through and settled in the room. I was utterly disgusted at what I was witnessing. I opened my mouth and let them know how disgusted I was at their actions and a "how could you" rolled off my tongue and I turned my back and headed out the door. Immediately upon leaving the room I was followed. The person to my left appeared to be looking for something so that he would cause me to be distracted ... but I still noticed the person flanking me on the right. I continued to walk and was trying to get to the stairs that led up the hill and across the barrier. Just before I made it to the giant stairs, the man on the left pulled a pistol from his holster, ran around in front of me, and stood there with his weapon pointed right at me while the left flanker tried to move around behind me. I dodged the man behind me - he couldn't grab me, **BAM** the weapon went off and grazed my face (lucky break). I ran to the stairs and the two nimrods were still chasing me. As I began to climb another shot went off, but this time the bullet was deflected by my cast (man, another lucky break). I started to run up the stairs as fast as I could, and for me, that wasn't easy. I soon found myself using my hands to help me up the stairs and heard another shot - thank god it missed. Out of breath and fearing for my life, I finally made it to the top of the stairs. Once I got here I realized I had to climb the first building in order to make it to the second and then across the barrier. I started to climb and the shots continued to come. I kept on thinking to myself, man am I glad these guys were never sharpshooters. I made it to the first building and grabbed onto the eave. I got my foot up on the first window and started to pull myself up when my leg was grabbed. After an intense struggle and nearly falling from the side of the building, I got loose and continued up the building. At the top, I had to find a way down and over to the next building. I heard my captors coming, and finally saw the path I needed to take. Slowly I worked my way through the crevice and grabbed the one certain spot I saw and let myself down. In doing this, I found a bit of a hide-a-way, and it was a good thing I dropped in there when I did, for the second I hid myself, my captors made it to the roof and most certainly would have been able to take me out. I waited until they thought I made it across and continued their search on the other side of the barrier and then I made my way out of the hide-a-way and lurched back to the garage where I knew my transport was still waiting. As I slowly crept across the grounds in the shadows to keep from being seen, I was at the garage door when a blow came from behind. Someone in an all white jacket, whose face was completely covered by the hood on the jacket held a pistol to my temple and said hold it. I begged with 'em to be let go, and I don't know what happened, but this person let me go. I will forever be grateful to whoever that individual was - they let me live another day.
I got into the garage and into the transport that I was accustomed to using - a lovely MB. I slouched down in the seat because the transport next to me was just pulling back in. I heard them talking about seeing if someone was in my transport because they would tell something wasn't right - and at that moment, I gunned it. I went over the grass and into the lot to avoid the string of transports waiting to eject. After dodging some very close calls in the lot, I again skipped over the grass and through the ditch to make it to the main road away from the barriers. I thought once I made it onto the main road I would be safe and the treachery I escaped from would dissolve in my mind.
